"We are building on the recent capacity increases, product launches, and shift additions at our Canadian operations to affirm that Canada will play an important role in the new GM as we continue to transform our product lineup", added Williams.
Chevrolet didn’t announce anything official about when the new generation of the Impala will hit the market. As a reminder, the Chevy Impala is a full-size automobile first introduced in 1958 model year and through 1965, the model became the best-selling vehicle in the United States, competing against the Plymouth Fury and the Ford Galaxie 500. The ninth generation of the Impala has been in production since 2005 and the model is being assembled at Oshawa, Ontario, Canada, coming in a single body style, four-door sedan, and with a choice of four engines and three transmissions.
