NAFA is proud to announce an agreement with ACT Expo, the largest alternative fuels and clean vehicle conference and expo in North America, to further accomplish the goal of providing better services and education to our fleet managers throughout the US and Canada.
ACT Expo showcases a wide range of alternative fuel offerings and presents the latest in clean technologies making it a must-attend event of the year for fleet managers. ACT Expo provides attendees the opportunity to engage in networking and one-on-one discussions, as well as get a first-hand look at the clean technologies and fuels that are revolutionizing the transportation industry.
"NAFA is extremely excited to be a sponsor of the ACT Expo, the premier clean technology event in the country for fleet managers," said NAFA Executive Director Phillip E. Russo, CAE. "There is a great deal of synergy between our two groups, especially with NAFA’s Institute & Expo being the fleet industry’s largest education and networking event. We are impressed by what ACT Expo has been able to achieve in terms of providing clean vehicle education and tools to fleet managers. I’m looking forward to helping the ACT Expo grow and become part of the NAFA family of partners."
The agreement lets ACT Expo take advantage of marketing efforts from NAFA’s annual conference and its decades of experience. In return, NAFA will reach an immense audience of fleet professionals interested in alternative fuels and clean vehicles; an area that the Association has focused on since the 1970s when then NAFA President, A. Warren Feirer, traveled to Washington, D.C., to accept an award from President Jimmy Carter for the Association’s efforts in planning fuel conservation. Since that time, NAFA has steadfastly been involved in environmental issues, often working with the EPA and the Department of Energy to provide the fleet point of view on pending legislation.
"NAFA’s Fuels & Technology Advisory Council continues to build upon the Association’s great legacy of conservation and alternative fuels," continued Russo. "The ACT Expo offers our Members a tremendous opportunity to see and learn about the vast array of alternative fuel and clean vehicle technology options that exist across all weight classes. The expo features strong keynote presentations and educational sessions, and presents a wonderful networking opportunity that brings fleet managers in front of Clean Cities Coordinators, infrastructure providers, technology developers, and vehicle and engine manufacturers."
