On July 10, the Mid-West Chapter held a meeting at Farm Credit Services of America at their Omaha, NE office. The day’s topic of discussion was the remarketing of vehicles. A panel discussion of remarketing trends, solutions, and innovations was moderated by NAFA Member Kathy Wellik, Manager of Transportation Services, Iowa State University.

Panel members were (left to right) Andy Milton, Remarketing Manager, Wheels Inc.; NAFA Member Patrick Barrett, CAFM, Director of Transportation Services, University of Nebraska-Lincoln; and NAFA Member Tom Hansen, Equipment Superintendent, City of Iowa City.

During the afternoon session, Mid-West Chapter Members toured the Manheim Auction location in Omaha, where they were shown what happens before, during, and after an auction. Manheim also discussed current auction market trends.
