ARI Acquires HPI Fleet

Global fleet services provider ARI announced on October 7 that it has acquired HPI Fleet and its related European business entities. The transaction is expected to close in late-October, at which time HPI Fleet will operate as ARI. The acquisition supports ARI's continued development of a strategic global footprint and follows the company's recent expansion into the UK and Germany. European operations will now include service delivery to customers in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Ireland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the UK.

"The acquisition of HPI Fleet, in tandem with our businesses in the UK and Germany, reflects our genuine commitment to serve the needs of our customers who are growing globally, as well as to deliver fleet solutions tailored to meet in-country needs," said ARI President Carl A. Ortell.

"We intend to leverage our expanded geographic footprint to provide services to both our existing multi-national customers and to those with regional requirements in Europe," said Chris Conroy, Managing Director of Global Operations.

ARI will manage its continental European operations from its offices in Stuttgart and Frankfurt, Germany, and its UK operations from Chippenham, England.
