NAFA chapters see the value in collocating meetings with events that are important to fleet professionals, which make attending the various auto shows around the country a natural choice. At these meetings representatives from the OEMs provide a glimpse into what's coming in the new model year and beyond, the features that will make a big difference to all drivers in the future, and for fun they will also point out some of those "dream cars" that appeal to the car enthusiasts in the audience.
It's a fun chapter meeting, but with a purpose. This information is helpful when it comes time to build fleet selector lists. But it can't be denied that walking a show floor full of brand new cars, and a healthy assortment of classic vehicles as well, can sure make an afternoon go by quickly.
Three NAFA chapters will be collocating with regional vehicle shows in February, and one in March.
On February 13, the
Philadelphia Chapter hosts the 2014 Manufacturer Product Preview & Philadelphia Auto Show session. It begins at the Aramark Tower, 1101 Market St, Philadelphia, PA at 9:30 am. After the preview portion, attendees will cross over to the Philadelphia Convention Center, conveniently located right across the street.

One day after that, on February 14, both the Greater Pittsburgh and Chicago Chapters hold their collocated meetings. Chicago's session will also hold their chapter elections prior to the session, so get to your chapter meeting and make your vote count.
The
Chicago Chapter meeting has a check-in period of 8:00-8:30 am, with the session beginning at 9:00 am. The meeting occurs at McCormick Place, Chicago, IL, where the Auto Show is being held.

The
Greater Pittsburgh Chapter will also hold their elections in conjunction with their Annual Business Meeting starting at 10:30 am. The meeting is hosted by the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Room 334 (1000 Fort Duquesne Blvd., Pittsburgh, PA). After the meeting, everyone will be invited to step out and take a look at the new cars.

Last, but not least, it's a much different type of vehicle show but it's the biggest of its kind. The
Tri-State Chapter will collocate their meeting on March 5, at the Indiana Convention Center, with NTEA's Work Truck Show in Indianapolis, IN. The session's education portion will cover DOT inspections and safety.
