NAFA Member Paula Bucklad Leaves Heinz, Joins BBL Fleet

Paula Bucklad, longtime Fleet Director for H.J. Heinz and NAFA Member, has joined BBL Fleet. She left Heinz after more than 36 years with the company.

BBL Fleet, located in Bridgeville, PA, is a provider of fleet management, financing, and leasing services. Bucklad will work in the customer service/risk management wing of the company.

In a July/August 2012 article for FLEETSolutions magazine, Bucklad was asked the question, "How has fleet management changed since you first entered the field?"

Bucklad replied, "Some of the major changes include the vehicles offered and the technologies. With all the different models to select from, the fleet manager also needs to be a negotiator; dealing with the manufacturers to obtain the lowest cost as well as with the maintenance and repair shops. Benchmarking with other companies is also a 'must' to make sure you are keeping up with the times and the industry. You have to keep on your toes to make sure that something does not get by you and affect your bottom-line."
