Public Charging Stations Introduced in the City of Rosemère

A partnership agreement has been signed with the city of Rosemère for the installation of two electric vehicle public charging stations. Announced by the founding partners of the Electric Circuit, the stations will be installed this summer in the city hall parking lot, as well as at the municipal library.

City Mayor Madeleine Leduc highlighted the city’s ongoing commitment to help reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Leduc referred to the city’s reputation of being environmentally-conscious and reiterated how proud they are to play a key role in encouraging alternate means of transportation.

An Electric Circuit spokesperson welcomed Rosemère, mentioning that the city is ideal, as it is located close to major roads and highways. Northern suburbs in Montreal continue to be a chief region for the Electric circuit, and they continue to be on the lookout for top partners in the area.

The Electric Circuit was launched in March 2012 and is the largest public charging network in Québec, with more than 250 Level 2 (240-V) charging stations and one fast-charge (400-V) station in operation.
