Participate In NAFA's National Officers And Elected Trustees Nomination/Election Process

NAFA's updated Policy for Nomination & Election of National Officers & Elected Trustees and 2015 Candidate Consideration form are now online. NAFA Members are invited to participate in the nomination of Members for positions within NAFA leadership. NAFA's Nominating Committee will be gathering in October for the Association's Board of Governors meeting, so please submit nomination forms before September 2, 2014.

NAFA’s Policy for the Nomination and Election of Officers and Trustees states a preference for nominating one candidate for each office. In the unlikely event of a contested election, NAFA will publicize each candidate’s qualifications using a "Statement of Qualifications" written by each candidate. Candidates are not permitted to campaign for office. In an uncontested election, NAFA Members will be notified of the slate of nominees and the NAFA Secretary will cast one vote to elect each nominee in 2015.
