NAFA's NorCal- Northern Nevada Chapter held their annual golf event in partnership with San Francisco's Public Fleet Supervisors Association (PFSA) at the Spring Valley Golf Course in Milpitas, CA. Over 100 Members and Affiliates attended a perfect weather day for a best-ball tournament play.
Spring Valley is a great golf course set in the foothills of Milpitas. This course challenges low handicappers for a great score, yet remains forgiving for the causal golfer to have a fun round. Last year the golf course was in great condition, lunch was a great chance to enjoy food and beverages prior to the events, and dinner was fantastic. In other words, the bar had been set pretty high, and yet the 2014 event surpassed it.

Trophies and gifts were awarded for top three teams of which require a play-off to settle final bragging rights. Several awards were won for closest to the pin, longest drives, and putting; however, the Hole-in-One contest prize of a new Ford Fusion, sponsored by Towne Ford, went unclaimed.

Thanks to all who came out and enjoyed a day out on the links. To you and all who unfortunately could not make it, we hope to see you around the clubhouse next year. Your NAFA and PFSA Boards, along with the Golf Tournament Committee, continue to listen to you for feedback!
