In Memoriam: FLEETSolutions Writer Henri Van Parys

It is with great shock and sadness that NAFA learned of the passing of Henri Van Parys, Marketing Consultant and Freelance Writer based in Florida. Henri was one of NAFA's many talented freelance writers and was published in FLEETSolutions magazine as recently as this past May. Henri had a long and distinguished career as a writer, communications manager, and public relations professional for over thirty-five years, with the companies First Advantage, IC INTRACOM, Kulicke & Soffa Industries, and Surgical Laser Technologies.

Ed Pierce, Vice Chair of NAFA's Membership Committee, recollects working with Henri at the start of their careers. "He and I started as PR Account Managers for Gray Rogers in 1978 and have been working together off and on ever since. I introduced him (to fleet and NAFA) to work on NAFA's CAFM guides."

Henri distinguished himself as a writer for his meticulous, data-driven work; his professionalism; and his enthusiasm for learning and sharing knowledge. He will be missed by NAFA and FLEETSolutions readers alike.
