NAFA NorCal-Northern Nevada Chapter Devotes Holiday Meeting To Less Fortunate

NAFA NorCal-Northern Nevada Chapter closed out 2014 with a holiday luncheon at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse in Walnut Creek on December 4, 2014. Sixty-nine members and guests donated toys, clothes, and gift cards to Bay Area Crisis Nursery for children in need during the holidays.

In addition, the Chapter’s donation of $2,000 was graciously accepted by Sister Ann Weltz, Founder and Executive Director of the Crisis Nursery, and Nancy Thomas, Development Director to help provide a holiday meal for families served by Crisis Nursery. The center's mission is to provide for children in times when parents have difficulty coping with life issues, especially during the holidays.
Chapter business included unopposed re-nomination of the current officers to another year of service. The 2015 schedule of meetings and topics were announced and will be posted to the website for all to mark their calendars.

NAFA NorCal-Northern Nevada Officers wish a happy and safe holiday to all members and their families and will see everyone next year at the February 19, 2015 meeting, hosted by Altec in Dixon, CA.
