NAFA's Great Lakes Chapter Makes The Plan Come Together At The Auto Show

Remember what Hannibal Smith used to say in the TV show The A-Team? "I love it when a plan comes together." That's exactly how attendees to the recent Great Lakes Chapter meeting felt.

Convening on January 22, attendees met at the Hard Rock Cafe in downtown Detroit to start things off. Mixing a great location and atmosphere with the Chapter's Annual Business Meeting, members had plenty of time to eat breakfast and network prior to getting down to business.

At the meeting, the Board presented a plaque to Brian Hendrick, honoring him for his service of Chapter Chair for the 2012-2013 period.

More than 50 people attended the meeting, during which the results of 2014 Chapter events were reviewed, and events taking place in 2015 were unveiled. Chapter leadership also highlighted the I&E, April 14-17 in Orlando, Florida, and solicited ideas for the Chapter's Fall Educational Conference on October 15.

Christy Coyte Meyer - Chair
Bob Mossing - Vice Chair
Chris Kowalski - Treasurer
Craig Cheatle - Secretary
Then it was on to the North American International Auto Show at the Cobo Center in Detroit. Guests were able to look at vehicles from across a wide spectrum, from eye-pleasing new models...

...to next-generation electric vehicles...

...to a vehicle that was "printed" using 3-d technology.

For the attendees who were able to share the day with the Great Lakes Chapter, it was fair to say this plan did come together, indeed.

Special thanks to Christy Coyte Meyer for material in this article.
