Year-after-year NAFA’s U.S. Legislative Update session at Institute & Expo is standing-room
only and receives rave reviews. This year, we give this session its due
by moving it to a Keynote Address so that everyone can hear the critical
news about government affairs issues that impact fleet operations. In
the keynote session
Lightning Rod Legislative Issues on Thursday, April 16, you will hear directly from NAFA’s Legislative
Counsel Patrick O'Connor, NAFA’s Government Affairs Committee leaders,
and representatives from U.S. government agencies.
Topics that will be discussed will include:
- Phase 2 GHG and fuel economy standards for medium and heavy duty trucks
- The status of the highway reauthorization bill
- Tax reform, with potential issues concerning vehicle depreciation,
personal use requirements for employer-provided vehicles, and more
Attendees will have the opportunity to submit questions both prior
to and during this session. If the panelists can’t get to your question
during the session, they can respond to you after I&E.
Lightning Rod Legislative Issues on Thursday, April 16 is an informative session you will not want to miss.
NAFA is committed to keeping members
informed about legislation and regulations, and to keeping legislators
