Greg Asadoorian
Foxboro, MA

Greg Asadoorian, now retired from INVENSYS, received the Honorary Lifetime Membership Award of 2015 at the April Institute & Expo. Greg is well-known as a tireless advocate for the fleet industry in general and of NAFA in particular. "He constantly strove, during his career, to make NAFA what it is today. Now retired, he remains one of the Association’s greatest friends."

Greg has been the "face" of the New England Chapter for many years. He recruits new volunteers at every meeting helping to ensure that the chapter has a continued flow of "new blood" and fresh ideas.

His efforts were instrumental in bring the FMI – now the I&E -- to Boston in the mid 80’s and it being a big success.  One of his proudest achievements was helping NAFA update its Total Cost of Ownership model.

He was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award from PHH in 2009. He is a past Chairman, Vice Chairman, and Secretary of the New England Chapter; and continues to serve as Nominating Committee Chair for the New England Chapter.

In addition, his warmth, sincerity and friendliness have created a welcome environment throughout the chapter.  He is always front and center at the chapter registration table and goes out of his way to introduce himself to all newcomers to make sure they are welcome and at ease.

Jay M. Domeseck
Fleet Director
Town of Greenwich
Greenwich, CT

Jay M. Domeseck is Fleet Director for the Town of Greenwich, Connecticut. He started working in gas stations when he was fifteen and went onto college for a two year degree in automotive. He then became a mechanic and overtime found himself in supervisory positions. Jay says one of the biggest changes to the industry since his early mechanic days is the technology.

"You used to be able to fix things without computers," he said. "Technology has just gotten so advanced."

Jay enjoys the information he receives from NAFA and spends his free time with his two children.

Leland F. Ross

Plainville, MA

Leland F. Ross spent 35 years with New England Telephone, AT&T Co, and NYNEX and was in the automotive industry for the last eighteen years. Over the years many aspects of the automotive industry have changed and Leland says IT systems and leading company handling fleets are just two major changes since his early days. Leland says he has met "a lot of nice people through NAFA".

Charles A. Woolard

Paoli, PA

Charles Woolard is celebrating his thirtieth anniversary with NAFA. Woolard entered the fleet industry when he was employed as a shift foreman in a GMC/Brockway/Freightliner truck dealership in the early 1980’s.

"I found that I wanted to go in another direction but wanted to remain in the automotive field. I was hired by a large regional bank, (CoreStates-now owned by Wells Fargo) to get their fleet of vehicles in order," he said. "My new manager was a member of NAFA and saw the value of my joining the organization."
Charles found camaraderie and similar concerns with his NAFA peers especially when sharing solutions.

"The networking with other fleet managers has always been the most important aspect of my membership," he said. "As technology expanded to email, the forums got larger and made it easier to reach out to those with shared experiences."

Donna E. Bibbo, CAFM®

"Hooked by my CFO’s comment, "Have I got a job for you," I have been involved with fleet management for 25 years, managing fleets at Pharmacia and its legacy companies, Amersham Biosciences and GE Healthcare, as well as at Novo Nordisk Inc.

"I would never have been as successful as I have been without the help of NAFA. NAFA has given me a wealth of education (including my CAFM®), helped me make contacts that enriched my knowledge as well as became my friends, and allowed me to hone my leadership skills by participating on a chapter level as well as at the national level. I have also served on NAFA’s Board of Directors as the Audit Committee Chair, the FleetEd Advisory Council Chair, and the Safety Advisory Council Chair.

"After leaving my position with Novo Nordisk for family reasons, I am looking forward to my next career challenge and am moving to Middletown, Delaware, this summer. Who would have known that those few words stated so many years ago would have led to such a passion and a really rewarding career!"
