New Fast-charge Stations For All Electric Vehicles In Quebec City

The Electric Circuit keeps on expanding its network of public charging stations in Quebec City. There are now two 400-V fast-charge public stations in service. This was made possible through partnerships with AddÉnergie, CAA-Québec, and the help of Nissan Canada.

"Québec is in the process of positioning itself as a leader in the areas of transport electrification and the fight against greenhouse gas emissions, which the transport sector is mainly responsible for producing. By contributing to the development and expansion of the network of electric vehicle charging stations, AddÉnergie and CAA-Québec-two Québec-based companies-as well as Nissan are demonstrating that transport electrification is well underway in Québec,"declared Pierre Arcand, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources and Minister Responsible for the Northern Plan.

The Electric Circuit plans on implementing a third fast-charge station in the region of Quebec City near the bridges within the next few months.

As the Electric Circuit’s network is increasingly growing in Quebec this could have a potential impact on NAFA members as well as other fleet managers.
