NAFA's Tri-State Chapter Hit The Links

The Tri-State Chapter meeting hosted their annual Golf Outing and Annual Meeting in Cincinnati Ohio on August 21. The meeting was held at the Sharon Woods Golf Course in Sharonville, OH.
 
The chapter had a morning breakfast meeting where Rob Sizemore, Chapter Chair updated the group on the chapters annual accomplishments and reviewed the remaining years upcoming meetings. Special thanks to Joe Henry with ARI for organizing the golf outing, and to Brian Lively and Ford Motor Company for sponsoring the lunch.

 

 

 

The winners of the first place gross were Ryan Gestwicki, Nissan; Joe Henry, ARI; Pete Gnatowski, ARI; and Joe Foster, Auto Truck Group.

Also noted at the meeting were several Chapter members who continue to contribute to NAFA and the Fleet community both locally and nationally.

New to the Chapter Officer list:   

Vice Chair Mark Toelky, Equipment Supervisor for the City of Cincinnati
Treasurer Jennifer Morgan,CAFM®, Fleet Manager with Clermont County
Sherry Calkins will remain as Chapter Secretary

Special recognition was given for the following chapter members:
Bret Watson – 25 years in NAFA
Mark Klein – 25 years in NAFA
Kelly Reagan – induction into Public Fleet Hall of Fame
Ruth Alfson, CAFM® – serving as the new NAFA President
Erin Gilchrist – serving as NAFA Vice Chair for the Accreditation Development Committee and winning two FLEXY Awards at NAFA I&E
Sherry Calkins – Serving as NAFA Vice Chair Affiliate for the Fuels & Technology Committee  

 

 For first place net it was Jeff Langley, Adrian Steel; Nicole Bennett, Amerifleet; and Steve Arkon, LeasePlan

Each year the Tri-State Chapter selects a regional charity to participate to raise money for them. This year the chapter chose the Shriners Childrens Hospital of Cincinnati to sponsor. Vanessa Mosley with the organization spoke to the group about the wonderful work this hospital does in working with children and youth.

 

 Tri State Chapter Chair Rob Sizemore presents Shriners Hospital with the $1,000 check from this golf outing.

The Tri-State Chapter raised $1,000 dollars at the golf outing. Thanks for the amazing support from all who attended and the teams who donated their winnings back to the charity. Great Job Tri-State Chapter!
