Wisconsin Chapter Meeting

What’s New in Fleet Policies? – Conceal Carry Laws, Medical and Recreational Marijuana Usage, and the pros and cons of vehicle safety features.

Dan Shive, Vice President, Risk Management Services at LeasePlan USA will be presenting these controversial issues and their effect on fleet safety and policy. In his role at LeasePlan, Dan is responsible for the sale and retention of Accident Management services, the introduction of Risk Management services to current and future clients such as policy review/revisions and implementation of safety services.

Pacific Southwest Chapter Meeting


LA Auto Show Meeting: This will be our largest event of the year including admission to the Auto Show on Press Day.  We should practically have the Auto Show to ourselves since it will not be open to the public on November 19.  We are changing things up this year by having many of the auto OEM’s speak during the meeting.  This will be a great opportunity to network with many fleet professionals. Plus we will have a raffle and some fun giveaways.

Chicago Chapter Meeting

Please join us at this year’s Holiday Luncheon to network and spread holiday cheer with the best and brightest fleet group in the industry.  

We also have a great speaker lined up from the Ronald McDonald House Charities, serving Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana.  Jim De Maria is the Vice President of Development and joined RMHC in November of 2010 to lead the sponsorship sales for the All American Games which had returned to Chicago for the first time in 29 years. The games proved extremely successful raising in excess of $600,000 for the charity. He has since moved on to the position of Vice President of Development for the charity and led the $30 million Capital Campaign to build the Ronald McDonald House in downtown Chicago and was the fundraising lead in the recently built Ronald McDonald House near Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield.  The mission of RMHC is to care for families of children with complex medical needs by providing comfort, compassion and a sense of community. RMHC keeps families of hospitalized children together in a ‘home away from home.'

Chesapeake Chapter Meeting


Save the date! NAFA's Chesapeake Chapter Holiday dinner meeting is scheduled for Thursday, December 3, 2015, social hour beginning at 5pm, with dinner being served at 6:30pm.  

The Olive Grove Restaurant hosted our Spring meeting held in May, and since we had so many compliments on the location, food and service, we will be returning once again.

New York-InterCounty Chapter Meeting


Guest Speaker: Joe Phillipi, President and CEO, AutoTrends

Come celebrate the holidays with one of the best networking events of the year.  Meet other fleet managers as well as affiliates from throughout the InterCounty Region. In addition to great food fun and networking we will be entertained by our guest speaker Joe Phillipi. Also we will be raffling off great prizes and raising money once again for Make-A-Wish.

Make-A Wish started in 1980 as a result of a 7 year old boy who had Leukemia and wanted to be a Police Officer.  The local Police Department made the arrangements and the boy’s wish was fulfilled shortly before he passed away from the disease.  Today the Make A Wish Foundation grants wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions.  NAFA New York-InterCounty Chapter is excited to support this wonderful foundation with the funds raised from this raffle.  A representative from Make-A-Wish is scheduled to be at the meeting.  So come and be ready to enter the raffle and support Make A Wish.

December is our charity event as well.  The charity selected this year is Kirk Care, Inc.  They are a Kirkwood Community Food and Financial Assistance Organization that has been lending a helping hand since 1982.  Some of the services they offer are food deliveries, assistance with utility bills, rent assistance, and helping to provide school supplies.  Their mission is to help the needy who live within the boundary of the Kirkwood R-7 school district.
