If you didn’t make it to NAFA's Pacific Southwest Chapter meeting at the LA Auto show on November 19, you missed out! It was the highest attended event of the year with just under one-hundred attendees. Fleet managers from both the corporate and government sector came from all over as each automaker gave a short five minute presentation on what is new and exciting in their fleet line this year. The chapter even had special guest: Thomas Short with Latter Day Saints Church, arriving all the way from Salt Lake City, Utah.
Among the automakers who presented were Audi, Ford, General Motors, Hyundai, Kia, Nissan, Mazda, Subaru, Toyota, and Volkswagen. In between presentations, raffle tickets were drawn for items that were generously donated from NAFA Affiliates. Many of the guests that attended went home with gifts cards and other great prizes. Attendees also had the opportunity to network with their peers before the presentations began and during lunch break. The meeting ended with a quick Q&A session for participants to ask any additional questions they had and then were released to preview the LA Auto Show for the remainder of the day without the large crowds.
If you did miss this event, don’t worry. NAFA's Pacific Southwest Chapter will be hosting another great event in March at the at the new Mercedes-Benz Vehicle Prep Center in Long Beach, CA. The Chapter will have a guided tour of the Mercedes-Benz Vehicle Prep Center and is also working on having a fun ride-and-drive program!
