Through the use of artificial intelligence, Collision Avoidance Systems (CAS) and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) are ushering in a transformation in road safety. The technology is able to detect lane markings, vehicles, pedestrians, cyclists. In doing so, the systems can perform detailed interpretations of the visual field in order to anticipate possible collisions.
