NAFA's Old Dominion Chapter braved the 93-degree heat on July 11 with an education class regarding the maintenance of electric vehicles. Mac McManus, the owner of Mac’s Service Center in Ashland, Va., shared the "dos-and-don’ts" of servicing electric vehicles. Attendees left with a new respect for batteries and awareness of the most common mistakes when it comes to electric vehicles. Chapter Members were encouraged to bring their service technicians for this instruction. Lunch was provided for all attendees.
Old Dominion Chapter Officers will meet in August for a planning session, and our next Chapter meeting will be September 12.In the meantime, if you are experiencing the heat like Virginia is, find a cool spot or a reason to be in the air conditioning!
