Join the NAFA Mid-America Chapter on Tuesday, February 13, for a special guest engagement with Michael A. Pitcher. The former President and CEO of LeasePlan USA, Pitcher will discuss the principles of successful leadership that he outlines in his 2016 book, "The Seven Elements of Leadership for a New Breed of Leader."
Find out first-hand how leadership is no longer the private domain of corporate executives, civic leaders, and politicians. Leadership is practiced every day in small businesses, classrooms, local chruches, athletic fields, and homes.
Pitcher believes that if you can inspire people, share a vision that includes their personal development, and be aware of the outside influences in your industry, the success will quickly follow. The "Seven Elements of Leadership" identified in Pitcher's book are Laugh, Learn, Listen, Language, Lagniappe, Legacy, and Love. He believes that these components are essential for success.
This special meeting will be taking place on Tuesday, February 13, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Black & Veatch World Headquarters, 11401 Lamar Ave., Overland Park, Kansas. Lunch will be provided following Pitcher's presentation.
