Registration for NAFA's 2019 Institute & Expo to Open in Early December

Registration for NAFA's 2019 Institute & Expo (I&E) will open in early December, only a couple of weeks away! Be prepared for some of the boldest changes and upgrades yet to the annual conference.

In 2019, NAFA’s I&E will become a three-day event: Monday, April 15, through Wednesday, April 17. All sessions and the Expo will take place at the brand new Kentucky International Convention Center in Louisville, Ky., and everything you’ve come to expect from the conference will be there.

Look for NAFA's upcoming communications with registration, hotel, and event information.

The enhanced I&E schedule features:

• A three-day event that retains the conference's key attributes
• A revitalized sessions format starting on Monday, rather than Tuesday
• Modernized learning opportunities in concurrent sessions
• Added features to the Expo that will increase value for attendees

NAFA's 2019 Fleet Excellence Awards nominations will also open in December, and will feature an entirely new structure. For the first time in the award program's history, the process will be opened to all fleets and to all levels of progress, be it safety, sustainability, excellence in overall organization/reorganization, corporate and community service, and more. Details are forthcoming, so keep an eye out for NAFA communication to learn more. 

NAFA’s Board of Directors has approved these enhancements to the Association’s annual conference to accommodate members’ needs, specifically to spend less time away from their jobs. In the coming months, NAFA will be building out the structure of the new I&E and setting its education and networking format.
