Vehicle Equivalency Units (VEUs) help a fleet manager determine how many mechanics' hours they require to service the number of vehicles the fleet holds within a specific number of maintenance hours. Getting that number right makes all the difference between having the right amount of work hours per employee per vehicle, or being under- or over-staffed. Getting your VEUs right is serious business.

If you are a certification student preparing for exams, or someone who just wants to test your threshold of fleet knowledge, take NAFAConnection’s monthly quiz. It can help you on the road to certification, allow you to gain maintenance points, or just measure your skills. Give it a try!

NEW! Existing CAFM®/S® holders can now earn one point toward "Maintenance" (maximum five quiz points in five years) when successfully answering quizzes.

Instructions: Copy and paste the quiz fields or print this article. Fill in your answers - include your name and email address - and send in your results by email to education@nafa.org by 12:00 noon (Eastern) this Friday, November 23, to be in the running for a $20 Starbucks gift card. All submitters will be in the running for the gift card.

Also, five people who return correct answers by 12:00 noon (Eastern) on Friday, November 23, will be entered in an additional drawing to take place in December. The winner will be chosen at random and will receive one free registration to a NAFA program of their choice in 2019, including a full registration to NAFA’s 2019 Institute & Expo.
