Last Call For Presentations - Deadline July 8

Your ideas for vital and timely fleet management education are a valuable resource that should be shared with other fleet colleagues -- and the I&E Curriculum Committee wants those ideas and your input!

NAFA's Call for Presentations supplies the all-volunteer Institute & Expo Curriculum Committee with the valuable summaries for consideration and possible inclusion in the 2011 I&E education program and schedule.

Isn't It Early? Why Now?

The 2011 Institute & Expo will be held April 9 - 12 in Charlotte, North Carolina at the Charlotte Convention Center. Yet, the spring and summer before such a key industry and Association event is most critical. Read the brief overview below to see how the curriculum selection process works.

The Curriculum Committee tends to work from the big picture down to the details. The first step of planning consists of determining the issues believed to be most significant to attendees, then work to build those concepts into specific sessions. Sessions vary in length from 60 – 90 minutes. They generally involve single speakers or panels. Your proposal may be considered for participation in panel discussions rather than as a solo speaking opportunity.

Help make next year's I&E even more successful by sharing your ideas and expertise! All NAFA Members and Affiliates are invited to recommend ideas for topics and suggest speakers or panelists for consideration. Take the first step in identifying the most relevant topics and issues facing fleet professionals today and submit your presentation proposal. Submissions must be received by July 8, 2010.

Within two weeks of the July 23-24, 2010, Curriculum Committee Meeting, you will be advised via e-mail whether your submission has been chosen or not. Please note that you do not need to have a full presentation in place at this time, just a general sense of what you would like to contribute.
