Employment Opportunity: NAFA Seeks Expert Fleet Contractor

NAFA is looking to fill a new position, Professional Development Strategist, to lead the Association's educational efforts. This is a high-level position requiring expertise in all aspects of fleet management. Knowledge of NAFA's educational offerings, related fleet organizations and associations, and connections with major key industry players are all strong assets to bring to the table. A CAFM is required. 

A background in adult learning habits/higher education is highly desirable. Candidates must be technologically savvy and ahead of the curve. We are looking for a self-directed, self-starter who knows how to work as a team player and lead groups of peers. Top-notch written and verbal skills are a must.

Major tasks of the Professional Development Strategist will include:

  1. Identifying fleet manager education needs and recommending methods to meet those needs.
  2. Directing all of NAFA's education efforts, including, but not limited to, in-person and online services; physical and digital products; and other programs.
  3. Managing the Association's professional certification programs, including: ensuring accurate curricula; overseeing exam process; directing re-certification efforts; and serving as liaison between Certification Board and NAFA staff.
  4. Leading NAFA's education partnership efforts with industry associations, related groups, and universities/colleges.
  5. Collaborating with NAFA's Director of Marketing & Communications to develop promotional materials, press releases, announcements, etc. on all education efforts.
  6. Serving as Subject Matter Expert on NAFA's Certification Board, Education Development Committee, and Institute & Expo Curriculum Committee.

This will be a contractor position, not employee position. Compensation will be by retainer/flat fee only. No benefits or perquisites provided. Please include desired compensation level in reply.
