New Fleet Perspectives Are Geared Toward Your Fleet!

NAFA has created two new quarterly electronic newsletters geared towards the specific concerns of public service and corporate fleet managers. Exclusively for NAFA Members and NAFA Affiliates, Fleet Perspectives features special profiles on NAFA Members, important fleet news, and informative articles that won't be found anywhere else.

The August corporate edition has information on how other fleet managers are handling maintenance and repair, tricks to minimize high costs, services out there to make your job easier, what other corporate fleet managers are successfully doing, and the latest career opportunities.

Public service fleet managers can read about the Internal Revenue Service’s decision on tax-free fuel, rebates, federal fleet guidance, how to keep fraud out, and fuel efficiency among others in the August issue.

In addition, this month’s Corporate edition features a profile on NAFA Member Michael Camnetar, CAFM, and how situations from Hurricane Katrina to the recent oil spill in the gulf have affected his fleet; while the Public Service edition takes a look at Brian Barkley, CAFS, and a new ambulance developed to combat the problem of idling.

The first issues of both editions were sent to NAFA Members over the past few weeks and also have been archived on a password-protected webpage so Members and Affiliates may access them throughout the year.
