NAFA Brings Back Silent Auction For 2011 Institute & Expo

Last year's Silent Auction
was such a tremendous success that NAFA is bringing it back for the 2011 Institute & Expo in Charlotte (April 9-12, 2011).  Thirty exhibitors offered such prizes as Apple iPads, Nintendo Wii game systems, tickets to NASCAR races, GPS systems, netbooks, gift certificates, and more during last year's auction, which raised money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Here's how it works.  Attendees receive a list of items with the corresponding exhibitor booth number and company name and can view the items up for auction on Sunday and Monday (April 10-11).  Bidding takes place on Monday between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.  Once the auction closes at 2:00 p.m. no further bids are accepted and the highest bid for each item is declared the winner.  Winning bidders will be notified by cell phone and will have until 5:00 p.m. to pay for and collect their item.

There is no cost for exhibitors to participate in the Silent Auction.  Exhibitors need only to fill out a simple form found online at http://www.nafainstitute.org and agree to donate an item (or items) carrying a minimum value of $100 and maximum value of $500.  The deadline to register for the Silent Auction is March 11.
