Fleet Sales And Support Personnel Changes For General Motors

General Motors announced personnel changes in regard to fleet sales and support services. Jennifer Costabile has been appointed General Director Marketing and Sales Support. Costabile previously was General Director Used Vehicle Activities and Marketing. Costabile will also be handling marketing, advertising, sales support and incentive responsibilities for Fleet and Commercial Operations (FCO). In addition, Costabile will be responsible for van marketing and dealer operations and will continue to lead the Certified Used Vehicles and Remarketing teams.

Bob Briedis has been appointed to Manager Sales Support, from Manager Business Development. He will be responsible for dealer operations, business central, commercial training, fleet incentives, business choice, and state and local government support. Kurt Moats, Doug Chandler, and Elliott Benson will be reporting to Briedis, and he to Costabile.

Mark Karney has been appointed Director - Alternative Energy Vehicle Sales. Karney's new role will be to lead an FCO Sales/ Sales Support team to grow GM sales and share of Alternative Energy vehicles, with an initial focus on Compressed Natural Gas/Liquefied Petroleum Gas and Electric. Karney was formerly Marketing Director.  Director - Alternative Energy Vehicle Sales is a new position that reflects the growing need to focus on vehicles outside of the standard combustion engine technologies.
 
Andrew Reyntjes, currently Van Marketing Manager, moves to the new position of Fleet Account Executive - Alternative Energy Vehicle Sales and will continue to report to Mark Karney.
 
Brian Bowden becomes Director - Fleet Support. Bowden will take over the responsibility for implementing FCO's growth strategies, providing organizational support and administration. Bowden will continue to report to Brian Small. Bowden was formerly Director Commercial Dealer Operations.
 
Kristin Koehl, previously responsible for Business Central, is appointed as Manager Fleet Support. Koehl will report to Brian Bowden.
