Affiliates Committee Meet At Board Of Governors In Charlotte

The Affiliates Committee met at the NAFA Board of Governors (BOG) meeting, held after the NAFA Institute & Expo in Charlotte, NC. Mark Klein, Chairman of the Affiliates Committee, thanked Mary Sticha for serving two years as Committee Chair and five years as Vice Chair.  Mary will serve as the Affiliates Trustee.

The Committee received an Education Development Committee (EDC) update from Patti Early, Chair of the Education Development Committee.  Mike Antich, Affiliates Vice Chair, and Mary Sticha, Affiliate Trustee, described a possible Affiliate lead project on creating a white paper endorsed by a third party, which would support the fleet manager.

Kris Bush of Lease Plan was appointed the new head of the Exhibit Advisory Board succeeding Mary Sticha.  Kris will lead a teleconference to provide exhibitor feedback to the Affiliates Committee.

The Affiliates Committee will begin a project to establish communication with Chapter Affiliate Committee Chairs.  Mark Klein suggested establishing a bi-annual webinar with the chapter Committee Chairs to keep them informed on what is going on within the Affiliates Committee and to obtain feedback and suggestions from the chapters.  Mark Klein, Jim Spellisey, and Dennis Christina will be working on this project.

The Committee will have a follow-up conference call to discuss feedback from the attendees at the 2011 I&E Conference.

The committee will meet again at the October BOG meeting in New Orleans.
