CEI Global Vehicle Risk Solutions Announces Promotions And Arrivals
In a message sent on November 11, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of CEI Global Vehicle Risk Solutions, Wayne Smolda announced that Vincent Brigidi has been promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer. Brigidi will head up commercial development and commercial delivery operations and will have direct responsibility over all customer accounts including the functional areas of Operations, Strategic Account Services, and Sales and Marketing.
A graduate of James Madison University, Brigidi came to CEI twelve years ago after working at Price-Waterhouse-Coopers in Washington D.C. With a record of consistent work in the Operations and Strategic Account Services, Brigidi has made great strides by offering services in product development, and providing direction for the company's new claims systems including IntellIclaim, Claimslink, DriverCare, and the Vendor Portal.
Smolda said of Brigidi, "The promotion of Vincent as President and COO, reporting to me, will ensure that our company is positioned for continued growth and success for the future and will make CEI an even stronger competitor."
Brigidi, in turn, announced the arrival of Vince Sommer to CEI as Vice President of Operations reporting to Brigidi, with his initial responsibilities including Fleet Operations, Loss Recovery, Insurance Services, Network Services, and Quality Control. Reporting to Sommer will be Carol Gillespie, Chris Villella, and John Wolford. Sommer will also be a member of CEI's senior leadership team and IT steering committee.
Sommer's previous experience includes being the Director at Sears Automotive Services, and prior to that, spending over eight years at Wheels Inc in Des Plaines, IL. At Wheels, Sommer served in various roles including Director of Vehicle Maintenance and Accident Services, Senior Director of Truck Operations, and most recently as the Senior Director of Product Development and Technical Sales.
