Patsy Brownson Announces Retirement From UCB, Inc.

Patsy Brownson, CAFM and former NAFA President, announced her retirement from bio-pharmaceutical company UCB, Inc. on October 27. Brownson has been with UCB since 2009.

A longtime Member of NAFA, Brownson joined the Association in 1978. She has been active in many aspects including acting as the Secretary for the Southwest Chapter, being engaged with several of the Board of Trustees positions and, ultimately, steering the ship as the Association’s President from 1993 to 1995.

Brownson has been a vocal supporter of NAFA's educational components including the CAFM program, was a recipient of NAFA's Distinguished Service Award in 1998 and of the Fleet Manager of the Year Award in 2001. Her career found her spending the majority of her time in the fleet sector as a part of Cox Communications, joining as a Fleet Manager in 1987 and retiring from the company in 2008.

While she is retiring from the day-to-day aspects of the fleet workforce, Brownson intends to stay on with NAFA as a Member. She is currently a Member of the Atlanta chapter. The membership of NAFA wishes Patsy Brownson all the best in her future efforts.
