NAFA Lends A Hand To St. Louis Habitat For Humanity - You Can Help Too!

Sometimes doing the same thing year after year isn't boring at all; in fact, it can be downright rewarding.  For the fourth straight year, NAFA Fleet Management Association will be participating in a Habitat for Humanity project to kick off the Institute & Expo.

Fleet managers from throughout North America will be rolling up their sleeves and picking up paint brushes and hammers as they help make a difference in the local St. Louis community.  NAFA began its participation with Habitat for Humanity in 2009 when volunteers helped build homes in Katrina-ravaged New Orleans and continued the following year in Detroit.  All three years of Habitat for Humanity project participation were sponsored by LeasePlan USA, who is providing t-shirts and bottled water for the volunteers as well as paying for their lunch and transportation to the project.

The Habitat for Humanity project will take place on Friday, April 8.  Buses will depart from the Renaissance St. Louis Grand Hotel at 7:30 a.m. and take the volunteers to the project where they will work until 4 p.m.  Along with providing a little sweat labor, both NAFA and LeasePlan will also make a contribution to help continue Habitat's ongoing mission.

If you are already registered and now want to attend this worthwhile Habitat For Humanity event, you can contact Registration Management at 952-858-8406. This is a great opportunity to network as well, so pitch in, do your part, and show the community what fleet professionals are all about.
