NAFA To Host Mastering International Fleet Management Seminar In October
As corporations circle the globe in search of new markets, fleet managers are placed in a difficult situation. Every region in the world handles fleet vehicles differently. Fleet managers will encounter new business cultures and rituals, unique regulations and government legislation, and added complexities compared to the fleets they manage in North America. NAFA Fleet Management Association is hosting a special Mastering International Fleet Management Seminar on October 16-18 in Tampa, FL, to introduce fleet managers to the intricacies of developing and implementing fleet policies around the globe. The seminar is open to all fleet management professionals.
In November 2011, NAFA presented its first-ever seminar geared towards the management of global fleets. That seminar contrasted fleet management in the United States and Canada with that of Europe and received rave reviews from the attendees. Building upon that success, the Mastering International Fleet Management Seminar has been expanded to cover more areas of the globe. In addition to Europe, this seminar will cover South America, Central America, and Australia.
Led by Hans Damen and Peter Egan of FleetVision, the Mastering International Fleet Management Seminar features expert speakers from Europe and South America. Together they will:
- Explore the complexities of running a multi-nation fleet
- Discuss differences in business culture and how each country’s workers perceive "outsiders"
- Help attendees understand the components and complexities of Total Cost of Ownership
- Review the latest and current data and information from around the globe
NAFA is currently compiling a list of fleet professionals interested in the Mastering International Fleet Management seminar. If you would like to receive detailed information about the seminar, please add your contact information at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/internationalseminar
