NAFA Members Continue To Earn Top Industry Awards And Industry Recognition

It’s been a very good year for NAFA Members. Two months after Lee Miller of Boehringer Ingelheim was named Fleet Manager of the Year at NAFA’s 2012 Institute & Expo, Larry Campbell, CPFP, of the City of Fort Wayne, IN, took home Public Sector Fleet Manager of the Year honors as well. Meanwhile Steve Riley of the City of Coral Gables, FL, earned the 2012 Visionary Leadership Award for being an innovative fleet manager and David Seavey, CAFM, of the City of Seattle had his fleet named the number one fleet out of the 100 Best Fleets. All four fleet managers are current NAFA Members.

"Time and time again, the members of NAFA Fleet Management Association show why this is the greatest organization a fleet manager could belong to," said NAFA’s Executive Director, Phillip E. Russo, CAE. "Where else can you be alongside so many of the leading professionals in your field? In April, NAFA honored several fleet managers whose innovative ideas are helping to change fleet management and lead the industry’s sustainability movement. Two months later, our Members continue to receive accolades within the industry.

"NAFA Members have played instrumental roles in fleet since the origins of the industry. More than fifty years later, our members continue to shape and guide the industry. Several of NAFA’s early pioneers have been inducted into the Fleet Hall of Fame, while thirteen more are nominees for this year’s induction class. We are proud of each and every one of them for their contributions to NAFA and to the fleet management industry as a whole."
