Dependable Auto Shippers Raises More Than $9,000 For Victims Of Hurricane Sandy

Auto transport company Dependable Auto Shippers (DAS) announced on January 15 that it raised $9,465 during a donation promotion created to benefit the American Red Cross fund for victims of Hurricane Sandy.

For every retail order booked with DAS from November 15 through December 15, the company donated $5 to the American Red Cross. During the month-long promotion, more than 1,880 orders were booked, resulting in a more than $9,000 donation to help those affected by the devastating hurricane.

"The destruction caused by Hurricane Sandy affected twenty-four states and millions of Americans, and it hit close to home for our extended DAS family since we have a regional hub in New Jersey," said John Roehll, Executive Vice President and Co-Owner of the company. "We felt it was our duty as an American company to help those living on the East Coast during the aftermath of this catastrophic event."

The carrier has regional locations in Dallas, Los Angeles, and Newark, NJ, as well as a network of more than ninety partner facilities across the country.
