NAFA Québec Brings Christmas Cheer In Montreal
On December 7, NAFA Québec held its annual holiday supper at the McCord Museum in downtown Montreal. Over 60 Members and Affiliates had the opportunity to network, visit the museum, and enjoy a great meal in company of friends and colleagues. The participants also brought great joy and smiles to needy children aged 2 to 11 by offering over 80 presents to the Maison Internationale de la Rive-Sud (MIRS), a not for profit organization, who then distributed these gifts during their Christmas party.
A drawing for a pair of concert tickets offered by NAFA Québec also permitted the participants to donate $760 to MIRS. NAPA-UAP also donated 4 tickets to a Disney on Ice show to MIRS.
The NAFA Quebec Executive Committee members were extremely moved by the generosity of their members and affiliates. These small contributions certainly made a huge difference to a lot of needy children. It was unanimous! Everyone present recommended that we do the same next Christmas.
