Ontario Chapter Votes To Keep Progress Going!

Don't mess with a good thing is a smart bit of wisdom, and the Ontario Chapter made sure to follow it.

The chapter held their Annual General Meeting on March 19. The business of the day found the chapter holding their affirmation vote for the current chapter executives. The current executives retain their positions by unanimous vote. Congratulations to Chapter Chair Michael Cole, CAFM, Project Coordinator Fleet Management Centre, Ministry of Transportation; Vice Chair Joe Werb, Ontario Power Generation; and Treasurer Allan King.

Cole offered the points of strength and progress the Ontario Chapter exhibited throughout last year via Powerpoint presentation, including the creation of the NAFA Ontario web page at http//nafa.poweredbyinsight.com/ (Sponsored by Insight Action); a successful Ride-N-Drive event, despite uncooperative weather; and a strong presence at NAFA's 2012 I&E in St. Louis. According to Cole, the Ontario Chapter has much more in store for 2013 and is excited to get the membership out and about in Atlantic City.

Guest speaker Kate Vigneau, CAFM, led the educational session for the Chapter which took place at Black Creek Pioneer Village in Toronto. Afterward, the topic at hand was networking and the Chapter Members took part in plenty of discussions and just had fun speaking with their fleet peers.

Special thanks to Ontario Chapter Chair Michael Cole for his contribution.
