Karen serves as the Secretary for NAFA's New England Chapter and is also the Chapter's Reception Committee Chair.

Edward Potkay
Fairhaven, MA

Ed Potkay, Director of Transportation for Cumberland Farms retired in January 2012 after a 37 year career with the company. Potkay managed a fleet of 600 pieces of equipment, ranging from passenger cars to class-8 tractors, trailers, and tankers. Joining Cumberland Farms in 1975, Potkay held a variety of progressive positions, which included, Fleet and Capital Development Manager, Manager of Fleet Services, and Corporate Safety Inspector and Compliance. Following retirement, Potkay joined Epic Media Group in Los Angeles as the National Vice President of Sales. Epic Media Group markets an innovative frame system, which provides changeable high-resolution mobile truck billboards.

Ed became a Member of the New England Chapter of NAFA in October 2008 and attended numerous I&Es over the years, including one since retirement. He states that the knowledge, camaraderie, and friendships made over the years is truly irreplaceable and he wishes his fellow NAFA members continued great success in their careers. He will still be seeing many of you in the future.

NAFA thanks all of the members celebrating their anniversaries this month for their years with the Association. It is the strength of the membership that has helped make NAFA the fleet industry's strongest association.
