Members of both the New Jersey and New York-InterCounty Chapters ventured out on a beautiful early-fall day to take part in a combined chapter event. The gathering took place at the Birchwood Manor, in Whippany, NJ.
The morning began with a breakfast spread of coffee, bagels, and light pastries, and members took the opportunity to catch up with their peers and do a bit of networking before the day's focus began.
Attendees moved to the parking lot to get behind the wheels of some of
the new and favorite offerings from participating OEMs and
representatives. This crucial step in taking the "latest and greatest"
around the test area helped many fleet managers either adjust or
finalize their fleet selector lists for the coming year.
After the Ride & Drive, attendees heard a presentation by John E.
Cruickshank, Attorney from law firm Alaniz and Schrader, L.L.P.
Cruickshank specializes in liability valuation and early resolution of
wage and hour class action lawsuits. (Cruickshank also presented at the
Philadelphia Chapter's meeting/Ride & Drive. Find out more about his
presentation in their chapter wrap-up in this issue of
NAFAConnection.)
