Fleet Management Firms Developing Partnerships With CNG Supplier

Donlen Corp. is developing a relationship with compressed natural gas (CNG) supplier VNG.CO to give its customers access to their network of refueling sites.

VNG.CO works with fleets and other stakeholders to identify their natural gas vehicle fueling needs and then coordinates the build-out of CNG infrastructure at retail fueling locations. The company recently inked a similar arrangement with PHH Arval.

"By partnering with VNG.CO, we're providing resources that our customers need to successfully implement light-duty CNG vehicles in their fleet," says Amy Blaine, Donlen's Vice President of Consulting, Analytics, and Sustainability.

"Now, in addition to providing analysis and vehicles that show customers where (the fuel) makes sense for them, we're giving them access to a network of stations," she adds. "This comprehensive program makes sense from both implementation and ROI perspectives and will help customers make decisions about choosing CNG vehicles for their fleet."
