In Memoriam: Diebold's Linda Taylor (1951-2014)
NAFA was saddened to learn of the passing of Linda Taylor, Fleet Manager for the Diebold Corporation until late-2013. She was 62. Linda passed away on January 29, after a long battle with cancer, in her home in Louisville, KY.
A longtime Member of NAFA, Linda joined in 1984 and was a true friend to the Association. Linda was a Diebold employee for 44 years. She had oversight of a fleet of over 3,500 vehicles for the company, a provider of ATM technology for the banking industry. She started with the company in 1969 and moved into the fleet department in 1971. At the time of her retirement in November 2013, she managed 1,259 cars, 676 Class 1-2 trucks, and 1,848 vans.
From published family accounts, Linda was known as an avid reader, enjoyed gardening and traveling, and was a devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, and aunt who loved family gatherings and attending her nieces' and nephews' sporting events.
She is survived by her mother, Marguerite Begue; daughter, Tiffany; partner, Roger May; siblings, Dennis Begue, Edward Begue, Pamela Kuhn, Theodore Begue, Ellen Livick, Janeen Jones, Timothy Begue, Tony Begue, and Danny Begue; granddaughter, Addison K. Fox, and numerous nieces and nephews.
