Dan Frank Promoted To President Of Wheels, Inc.

Automotive fleet management and services provider Wheels, Inc., announced on September 5 that Dan Frank has been promoted to President of the company.

In his new role, Frank is in charge of virtually all of Wheels’ business units. He continues to report to his father, Jim Frank, who previously served as Wheels’ President, and remains the company’s Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board.

Dan becomes just the third president in Wheels’ 75-year history. The company’s first was Armund Schoen, who co-founded Wheels with Dan’s grandfather, Zollie Frank, in 1939. Zollie’s son Jim became the company’s second president in 1974.

Dan Frank has held various cross-functional executive leadership positions throughout his 16-year tenure at Wheels. He most recently served as President of the Wheels Services business, a role in which he oversaw the company’s service programs like maintenance, accident management, safety, telematics, and tolling. He is also a member of Wheels’ Board of Directors, President of the company’s Canadian arm (Wheels Leasing Canada, Ltd.), and Chairman of Ixe Fleet, Wheels’ joint venture in Mexico.

Dan is on the Board of Directors of the American Automobile Leasing Association and represents the fleet industry on legislative and regulatory policy. An advocate for fleet safety issues, he also serves on the Board of Directors for the National Safety Council.
