NAFA And IARA Exchange Memberships

As part of its efforts to forge closer ties, NAFA and the International Automotive Remarketers Alliance (IARA) have agreed to exchange memberships among their top leadership.

The program will allow these leaders to attend the twice yearly IARA Roundtable (held in the spring and summer of each year) and the yearly NAFA Institute & Expo, enhancing the understanding of the issues and priorities of each group among the two professional organizations.

"NAFA is pleased to enter into this relationship with IARA, and we expect great things to result from it," said NAFA Chief Executive Officer Phillip E. Russo, CAE.

"I see this as the beginning of a long partnership among the two organizations, and a means to give our respective members enhanced value in their overall memberships and for their conference dollars," said Tony Long, Executive Director of the IARA.

The agreement to exchange memberships was reached on November 1 by the IARA and NAFA.

The International Automotive Remarketers Alliance (IARA) assists, educates, and shares knowledge with members and industry partners, so that membership may achieve the fullest efficiency and most continued improvement attainable in the commerce of selling vehicles through the marketplace.
