Celebrating Membership Milestones

January 2015

35 years

Elizabeth B. Linck, CFM
Green Valley, AZ

"I started my Fleet career in 1975 with a Fortune 500 company and joined NAFA in 1980.  In 1990, I went to the Public Sector as Fleet Director for the town of Greenwich, CT, until 2009 when I retired. As Fleet Director many objectives were achieved, including meeting the requirements for an ASE Blue Seal facility, since 2005, with pay increases for the technicians, successfully outsourcing the parts room function in 1999, implementing Outcome Based Budget for four fiscal years, and the department received recognition as a Top 100 Best Fleets in North America for four consecutive years and number fourteen in 2009.

"I'm active member of NAFA, serving five terms as Chapter Chair of the Inter-County Chapter, and various positions over 23 years on the National Board of Governors, twice nominated for Fleet Manager of the Year (1996 and 2007) and recipient of the Outstanding Chapter Award 2000. I'm proud to be one of the few Fleet Professionals to complete the Wharton CFM program.

"I am currently living in Green Valley, AZ where I have made a complete circle to my first love, working with animals, which was my first job. I have been volunteering at the Animal League of Green Valley, a no kill rescue shelter, for the past five years, in addition to caring for the dogs; I have been working in the medical area with the local Veterinarian."
