NAFA Midwest Chapter Elections And Omaha Auto Show
On January 22, the Midwest Chapter held their Annual Business Meeting and Auto Show session, and 31 attendees took part in education and discussions. The hosts for the meeting were the headquarters for the Mattress Factory, and the Century Link Center (501 North 10th Street) where the Omaha Auto Show was held.
This meeting is important to fleet managers particularly because of the manufacturer mid-season model update presentations that occur. Ford, GM, and FCA representatives detailed their upcoming vehicle changes; information that helps fleet managers with the process of revising selector lists.
The chapter also elected their leadership for 2015. They are:
Chapter Chair: Nanette Schmidt, CAFM®, Continental Western Insurance
Chapter Vice Chair: Kathy Wellik, CAFM®, Iowa State University
Chapter Secretary: Stacey Kroeger, Farm Credit Services of America
Chapter Treasurer: Russell Baugh, Shottenkirk Chevrolet
From there, it was on to the auto show to look at the new vehicles. Congratulations to the Midwest Chapter's new leadership roster!
