NAFA's Great Lakes And Tri-State Chapters Make A Tasty Combo
Remember the old Reese's peanut butter cup commercials when two great tastes came together and made something even better? NAFA's Great Lakes and Tri-State Chapters hosted the Annual Fall Educational Seminar on October 7, 2015 in Perrysburg, Ohio. You might say these were also two great tastes that taste great together.
This was the sixth consecutive year the two chapters have held the seminar together. This year the theme was around Connected Vehicles - Today and The Future. The seminar included an amazing line up of presenters and industry experts.
- Connected Vehicle Big Picture, What’s Going on in the Community: Tim Johnson, Next Energy
- Panel Discussion on Connected Vehicles - Where We Are and Where We Are Headed Panel Speakers: Stefan Gspurning, Bosch; Chad Callander, Ford; Mike Lambregtse, General Motors; Colin Sutherland, Geotab; Ron Lasman, Subaru
- Connected Road-Smart Infrastructure: Rick Warner, Truck Smart Parking Services
- Safe Fleets Through Driver Data Management: Matthew Betz, SambaSafety; Craig Cheatle, ATS
- Telematics and Cyber Security: Colin Sutherland, Geotab; Stefan Gspurning, Bosch
- Telematics Implementation and Planning: Presented by NAFA Fleet Excellence Award Winner Erin Gilchrist, Fleet Administrator for Safelite AutoGlass
- Fleet Safety Technology Distractions: Presented by NAFA Affiliate of the Year Phil Moser, ADTS; Steven Wenger, Mobileye
This was by far the highest turn out for this event with over 75 attendees. The events start with a social event including a networking reception and dinner as a group at Nagoya Japanese Steak House, which was filled with great conversations and new introductions.
Thanks to all who attended!
