NAFA's Philadelphia Chapter Doesn't Forget During The Holidays

Turbulent times can really change your plans around, and can often disrupt them altogether. During the holidays, it is important to remember those whose lives have been altered over the past year, and also to have strategies to power through the "new normal."

The Philadelphia Chapter held its annual Christmas meeting at Maggiano’s Little Italy restaurant on December 2. The meeting featured Author, Speaker, and Corporate Culture Expert Larry Johnson, who presented an engaging talk entitled Mastering the Storm of Change: How to Survive, Thrive, and Lead Change in Turbulent Times. He also addressed the Consolidation of Fleet Management Companies, the changing role of fleet managers, corporate downsizing, and the rapid speed of change of life in general.

During the meeting the chapter also raised over $700 donations for Manitou Foundation which provides experience camps for children whose parent, sibling, or caregiver has died. These camps build confidence, encourage laughter, and allow them to navigate their grief through friendship, teamwork, athletics, and the common bond of loss.
