NAFA's New England Chapter held its March 21 meeting at the Toyota Regional Office in Mansfield, Mass. The topic was the future of autonomous vehicles and its potential impact on fleet. Forty members and guests attended this session.
Guest speaker Stephen McGill, Research Scientist at Toyota Research Institute in Cambridge, Mass., provided an overview of autonomous vehicle industry and technology, the current and forthcoming challenges to the marketplace, and looked into the crystal ball at the future of automated vehicles.
During the break, meeting attendees saw a static display of a Toyota test vehicle. There was a lively discussion with plenty of good questions and answers.
