How should NAFA identify and engage the next generation of fleet leaders?
NAFA’s Board, chapter leaders, and committee and Community chairs gathered in Minneapolis to discuss just that, plus several other strategic needs that will power your association into the future.
The annual NAFA Leadership Forum in late June brought together more than 50 fleet professionals that are helping guide NAFA from the local through international levels.
NAFA leaders posed two challenges to attendees to develop during the Forum:
In the workshops on these topics that followed, attendees brainstormed many new ideas that could be implemented, as well as enhancements to existing NAFA programs. Ideas touched on both in-person and virtual meeting ideas, technology to use, new features to incorporate into NAFA Communities, membership approaches, and alternative education delivery methods.
The Leadership Forum also included chapter leader training, where new chapter chairs were briefed on the tools and resources that will help them create engaging and successful local chapter events for all NAFA Members. Attendees also received updates on NAFA’s strategic and operational plans, U.S. government affairs update, and NAFA Communities.
As NAFA’s Board and staff assess these ideas, look for more details on these potential new approaches and enhancements in the coming months!
