Members of both the New Jersey and New York-InterCounty Chapters ventured out on a beautiful early-fall day to take part in a combined chapter event. The gathering took place at the Birchwood Manor, in Whippany, NJ. This crucial step in taking the "latest and greatest" around the test area helped many fleet managers either adjust or finalize their fleet selector lists for the coming year.

Cruickshank specializes in liability valuation and early resolution of wage and hour class action lawsuits. "The only person who cares about justice is the person who feels they didn't get any," he said.
NAFA has aggressively sought international partners in an effort to extend beyond the borders of North America. Global fleet services provider ARI announced on October 7 that it has acquired HPI Fleet and its related European business entities. The transaction is expected to close in late-October, at which time HPI Fleet will operate as ARI. The acquisition supports ARI's continued development of a strategic global footprint.
Via Motors is finally ready to take its unique modified plug-in electric powertrain into production as it's shored up a $20 million contract with as many as 50 different commercial fleets around the country. After striking a deal with the DOE to help subsidize the $79,000 price tag, Via Motors will begin production and start making deliveries next year.

PHH Arval, in early-October, announced that Kim Bolin has been named Vice President, Vehicle Maintenance Assistance (VMA) and Contact Center. Bolin will be responsible for all of VMA operations for North America, including the Contact Center, which also consists of the Driver Response Team and Vehicle Accident Services.
